For professionals who completed a structured grooming or pet care program through a licensed school, academy, college, career school, or diploma program.
Formal education is listed first because it represents the most structured and documented educational pathway. Applicants who have completed formal education should submit that documentation before submitting certification or professional training records.

Professional Certification
For professionals who completed a full certification through a grooming, pet care, animal care, behavior, safety, wellness, or related organization.
Certification records, badges, renewal proof, and membership proof may be submitted. This could include The Modern Grooming Professional, first aid and cpr, Fear Free, AKC Safe, etc….

Professional Training
For professionals who learned through industry experience, including apprenticeship, mentorship, employer training, salon training, workshops, seminars, self-study, or years of hands-on work.
Formal school is not required for this category. Applicants may submit training proof, mentor or employer letters, course records, CE documents, work history, or a short explanation of their professional learning path.
